Periodontology & Implantology

Prof. Dr. Curd Bollen is a certified dental specialist in periodontology and has nearly three decades of experience in periodontology and implantology. During that period, he placed more than 15,000 implants and built a broad clinical and academic expertise.

His special interest lies in ceramic and zirconia implants, short and ultra-short implants, complex implantology, peri-implant issues, and treatments using autologous growth factors such as L-PRF. In addition, he works with digital planning and computer-guided implant surgery.

For Curd, every treatment begins with a thorough diagnosis. He first wants to understand why a problem has arisen before a treatment is proposed. In doing so, he openly and clearly discusses the benefits, limitations, and potential risks of each option.

His approach is personal and bio-integrative. He doesn't just look at the mouth, but also takes into account overall health, inflammation, and individual factors. Especially patients who have already undergone multiple treatments or have lost trust, he wants to offer renewed clarity and perspective.
