Pediatric dentistry & orthodontics
Dr. Liliya Oprysnyk combines two specialties that naturally belong together: pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. As a result, she can guide a child from the very first consultation, sometimes even before the first tooth, all the way through growth to a completed orthodontic treatment.
She studied dentistry at the University of Valencia, subsequently specialized in pediatric dentistry at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) in Barcelona, and is currently completing her master's degree in orthodontics at the University of Oviedo. In addition to her clinical work, she taught at the UIC from 2018 to 2020 and conducted scientific research on behavioral management in children during dental treatments. That research was published in the European Journal of Paediatric Dentistry (2021).
Her approach is based on prevention, patience, and trust. She works with proven behavioral techniques, from step-by-step habituation to distraction and positive reinforcement, to put even anxious children at ease. As a mother, she understands what is on parents' minds and what a visit to the dentist can mean for a child.
For orthodontic treatments, she works with braces and transparent aligners (Invisalign, Spark). She is certified in early oral health, including prenatal care, breastfeeding, and infant nutrition.
