Dr. Sérgio Martins graduated as a dentist in 1998 from the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Porto. After that, he completed a postgraduate degree in occlusion, and in 2016 a postgraduate degree in orthodontics at the European Orthodontics Centre (CEOSA) in Madrid.
He worked as a dentist in Lisbon and for more than twenty years in Vila Nova de Gaia, in the Porto region. Since 2016, he has focused on orthodontics, and since 2024 he has been active in Belgium.
He treats children, teenagers, and adults, using both fixed braces and transparent aligners. Since 2023, he has been a certified Invisalign provider. For each patient, he chooses the treatment that best suits their needs and goals.
He takes the time to explain each phase of the treatment, including the expected duration and the various options. This way, both patients and parents feel well informed and reassured throughout the entire process.
Dr. Martins speaks French, Portuguese and English. He is happy to receive Portuguese-speaking patients in their own language, so that they feel comfortable and understood from the first appointment.
